Charleston Beer Fest Postponement Allows for an On Location Celebration in 2021
Charleston Beer Fest on Location Offers Weekly Brewery Events In November, December and January
CHARLESTON, S.C. (November 1, 2021) - Although Lowcountry beer lovers will have to wait another year to celebrate Charleston Beer Fest (CBF) and all of its festivities, a new initiative has been put in place that will help celebrate our region’s thriving brewery culture and support Palmetto Community Care. “Charleston Beer Fest on Location” will offer discounted beers at select breweries, depending on the day, for individuals who purchase and wear a 2021 Beer Fest t-shirt.
“After making the difficult, but necessary, decision to postpone the festival until 2022, we still wanted to find a way for our 2021 supporters to honor their favorite local breweries,” said Bradley Childs, Executive Director of Palmetto Community Care. “Although not the traditional fun and games we have come to know and love, we’re excited to bring Charleston Beer Fest on Location with weekly local brewery events in November, December and January.”
Participating breweries will offer select $5 pints on scheduled days to all patrons wearing the 2021 Beer Fest t-shirt. The Charleston Beer Fest On Location schedule is as follows:
Wear It! Tuesday (11/23/2021; 12/14/2021 and 1/18/2022) at Holy City Brewing, Indigo Reef Brewing Co., and Two Blokes Brewing
Wear It! Wednesday (11/17/2021; 12/8/2021 and 1/12/2021) at Commonhouse Aleworks, Estuary Beans & Barley, Low Tide Brewing, Palmetto Brewing Co. and SNAFU Brewing Co.
Wear It! Thursday (11/11/2021; 12/2/2021; and 1/6/2021) at Charles Towne Fermentory, Cooper River Brewing Company, and Rusty Bull Brewing Co.

Next year’s Charleston Beer Fest is scheduled to be held on October 22, 2022, at Riverfront Park in North Charleston.
