Charleston Beerfest

Palmetto Community Care and Charleston Beerfest  are dedicated to providing a harassment-free festival experience for everyone, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of festival participants in any form. All communication should be appropriate and inclusive for all audiences including people of diverse backgrounds, sexual orientations and cultures. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate.

Be kind. Do not insult or defame participants. Harassment in any form, sexist, racist, or exclusionary jokes are not condoned.

​

All festival participants are expected to conduct themselves with integrity, courtesy and respect for others. This applies to all attendees, exhibitors, speakers, sponsors, vendors, volunteers and staff.

​

Participants violating these rules may be asked to leave at the sole discretion of Charleston Beerfest. Thanks for helping to make this a welcoming event for all!

WHAT IS ALLOWED AT CHARLESTON BEER FEST?

Chairs, blankets, small-handled bags to carry blankets (subject to search), sunscreen, bug spray, personal umbrellas, EMPTY Water Bottle (free water-fill stations will be available).

WHAT IS NOT ALLOWED?

Anyone under 21 years of age, pets, coolers, large bags or backpacks (all bags are subject to search), outside food or beverage, illicit or illegal substances, weapons, large pop-up tents.

can i leave the festival and return later?

There is no re-entry allowed for Charleston Beer Fest. No Exceptions.

WHERE DO I PARK?

The festival is at Riverfront Park, 1061 Everglades Ave, North Charleston, SC, 29405. Parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at lots located on Noisette Blvd, Avenue B, Turnbull and N. Hobson, with ADA-accessible lots on Everglades and Avenue B. The Navy Yard has multiple active construction zones, so please plan ahead.

Where is the rideshare location?

There will be ONE rideshare location this year, located on the North end of the pedestrian bridge at the intersection of 2nd Street North and Avenue B.

can i bike to the event?

Absolutely! We encourage this green choice! Cheers to making a green choice!

I have an issue with my tickets. What do I Do?

You received your tickets via an email from SeeTickets. In that email, click the “download” link and then print the PDF of your tickets. If you have any issues with missing or lost tickets, please contact SeeeTickets directly.

how do beer tickets work?

When you check-in, you’ll receive a mug for beer tasting samples. You may purchase additional tickets for 14oz pours for $5 each. 

Samples:  approximately a 3 oz pour

Mugs: (14 oz pour) = 1 Beer Ticket

Beer tickets are non-refundable.

i have a designated driver ticket but the rest of my group is vip - how does this work?

First - thank you for being a Designated Driver. We want all of our attendees to be safe and responsible. If you are with a group of VIP ticket holders, you will be able to enter with them starting at 12:00 PM and you will be allowed into the VIP Retreat. Please ensure you that have your special VIP DD wrist band on at all times. Our team has been instructed NOT to pour alcohol for anyone wearing this special wristband.

how do i volunteer?

what is the festival weather policy?

Charleston Beer Fest is a rain or shine event. The festival will go on even with rain, unless weather conditions are unsafe for attendees. 

​

can i get a refund on my tickets?

Tickets are non-refundable. If there are extenuating circumstances, the leadership team may make a rare exception, but as a rule, tickets are non-refundable.
